The Dawn of Molecular Breeding in Cannabis sativa L.

Field of Hops

Per McAdams, et al (2013), the genes responsible for significant effects on variation in the secondary metabolites of plants from the Cannabacaea family are likely to be located very close together on their respective genomes.

Two methods, Marker Assisted Selection (MAS) and Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) analysis are leading researchers of the Humulus lupulus or hops plant, a cousin to Cannabis sativa L. forward to new combinations of old therapeutic pathways that can be designed to increase the probability of femaleness, thus ensuring an increased yield of potent flowers, and by extension, the efficacy of the specific external dabbing requirements of the medicinal patient versus the recreational end-user.

Interestingly, the DEA of the United States has determined independently that hops and hops oil (cousins to the beloved potted plant known as Cannabis sativa L. aka ‘Mother Dab’) are GRAS!

(Generally Recognized As Safe).

The reader must therefore help identify the molecular markers within the Cannabis genome that are housed within pairs of 9 offsetting autosomal chromosomes plus a set of sex chromosomes, double-x or ‘XX’ for the female and ‘XY’ for the male that are responsible for determining the sex of the plant via a predictable common X:A ratio.

Deciphering which outcomes are most closely associated with certain trait variations leads the patient Cannabis breeder to a greater understanding of the historical structural change within the genetic architecture underlying the means and ways of variation among all phenotypic traits within Cannabis sativa L.

Therefore, an exercise that deciphers the products of the determinants of the ontogeny of the plant is essential to increasing the flower number or yield of known female Cannabis plants, and the subsequent resultant production of the primary trichome glands of the plants that are embedded in and around the flower cone or calyx (sepals and petals) of each plant.

Environmentally, the yield of each plant can be influenced epigenetically by external factors such as water supply (an acre of hemp in the field typically requires upwards of 20 inches of water per growing cycle), nutrient availability, nutrient uptake, length of day or photoperiod, irradiance and the plant’s ability to efficiently convert photons of light as energy sources during the process of photosynthesis thus fueling its growth, temperature, breeding practices, and the infestation of the plant by pests and diseases (among other factors).

Predictively determining early on, even at the seedling stage, which factors such as sex will lead to a more certainty of subject and sibling yield is the goal of molecular breeding and the dream of every Cannabis breeder.

Setting up the plant genetically to maximize yield, and then massaging the plant environmentally to ensure production of those superior traits is the domain of the successful Cannabis farmer.

Oh! To be alive from 2001 through 2010 and to make it through the labyrinth of Cannabis prohibition (aka “Pan’s Labyrinth”).

Vital #MedMj statistics for the 10 year period Jan 1, 2001 through Dec 31st, 2010

  • 1 arrest every 37 seconds
  • $36 billion USD spent to enforce compliance with outdated #MedMj laws (fail)
  • Blacks 35% v Whites 35% all like to use #MedMj
  • But, Blacks 4:1 Whites get caught and jailed four times as much!

How can this be so in the ‘Land of the Free’…?

Bitter Medicine | 15,000 People a Year Can’t Be Wrong | Can They Be?

FACT: Prescription pain medicine now causes more overdose deaths than heroin and cocaine combined!
15,000 is the number of people each year in America that LEGALLY succumb to oxy-opioid poisoning either consciously or subliminally.
That’s right.
More people than can fill up Scottsdale Stadium (the spring training home of the San Francisco Giants - Major League Baseball (MLB) team - seating capacity: 12,000) now die each year in America from overdosing LEGAL ‘Oxy-Opioid' prescriptions.
And, that’s UP from 4,000 deaths in the year #1999!
How do you kill 15,000 people annually (and, growing) without a conscience?
All too alarmingly, 1 out of every twenty (20) Americans age twelve (12) or older now cop to taking ‘Big Pharma' opioids recreationally.
Such ‘Big Pharma' concoctions aka 'oxycodone’, hydrocodone’, methadone’, and fentanyl' are hugely profitable molecules (pills) that attach to our human opioid receptors located in the back of our brain-stems where our autonomic life-support systems such as breathing and heart beat are automatically regulated.
By stimulating these receptors with overextended use, greater levels of molecules (pills) have to be taken to achieve the same pleasure-relaxation effect.
And, that’s how ‘Big Pharma' gets you 'hooked' legally!
Unfortunately, greater levels of ‘oxy-opioids' floating around within your bloodstream people will drown out the signals coming from your autonomic nervous system.
Thus, in effect…ultimately shutting down both your breathing and your heart beat resulting in YOU becoming a fresh mortality statistic.

Arizona State Constitution | Amendment XXXI (31) | Marijuana Regulation and Taxation | Citizens for a Safer Arizona

Dear Congresswomen and Congressmen:
RE: HR 499 Sponsored by Congressman Jared Polis of Colorado’s US Federal voting district #2 and the proposed Arizona Constitutional Amendment XXXI (#31)
As you are aware, Congressman Polis’s sponsored bill HR 499 titled ‘Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act of 2013’ is stuck in subcommittee as of February 28, 2013 (See the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations).
Whereas a recent poll of Americans of voting age or older shows an overwhelming support of Congressman Polis’s bill ( 58% Yea vs 39% Nay ), a total of (16) other US House of Representative members have hitched their ride, their political fortunes, and their holy reputations onto Congressman Polis’s HR 499 as co-sponsors.
One of those co-sponsors is Congressman Raul Grijalva of Arizona’s US Federal voting district #3 representing the City of Gila Bend, and parts of the Arizona counties of Maricopa, Yuma, Pima, Pinal, and Santa Cruz.
I salute Congressman Grijalva’s bold stance for liberty.
And, I cajole the other members of the US House of Representatives, especially those Congressmen and Congresswomen representing the other (8) US Federal voting districts of Arizona, with sustained coaxing or flattery if need be, to stand up with Congressman Grijalva by signing on as a co-sponsor of HR 499.
In today’s world, we now have a total of twenty states and the District of Columbia, the constituents of which, as well as their state legislators and governors, have approved of either medicinal or recreational forms of cannabis or industrial forms of hemp.
In Arizona, we are at the dawn of approving Arizona Constitutional Amendment XXXI (#31), a conduit to legalize both medicinal or recreational cannabis, and other industrial forms of hemp production.
To date, we have captured and secured by notary approximately 7,000 registered voter signatures with a target of 250,000 additional signatures by July 3rd, 2014.
That’s approximately 50,000 new signatures per month going forward into the new year of #2014 with the month of June 2014 expected to be our ‘make or break’ month should we be able to secure our valid signature allotments for the then previous five months.
I urge you to hitch onto Congressman Polis’s HR 499 as a co-sponsor, and I ask for your and the support of your staff in helping to capture the required registered voter signatures needed by July 3rd, 2014 for the State of Arizona in order that we may place Arizona Constitutional Amendment XXXI (#31) on the ballot for a vote of Yea or Nay by the voters of the State of Arizona during the day of general election scheduled for Tuesday, November 4th of 2014.
Thank you for your time, and I thank you in advance for your sustained cooperation.

Arizona State Constitution | Amendment XXXI (31) | Marijuana Regulation and Taxation | Citizens for a Safer Arizona

Originally post’d by: Robert Hempaz, PhD Trichometry™; Arizona Cannabis Dispensary ‘Live Free or Die’ Logo Flag and photo annotations courtesy of the Medical Marijuana Initiative of North America- International

We need a total of 259,213 valid registered voter signatures collected from any or all of the (15) counties of the State of Arizona BEFORE Friday July 4, 2014 in order to place Amendment XXXI (31) on our November 2014 ballot.
Amendment XXXI (31) will change the Arizona State Constitution in favor of our 650,000 Medicinal and Recreational Marijuana patients and users.
Given: Medicinal and Recreational Marijuana patients and users of voting age make up approximately 10% of the population of the State of Arizona.
Under the provisions of the proposed Arizona State Constitutional Amendment XXXI (31) ANY Medical Marijuana patient carrying a Medical Marijuana green card issued by the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services…
Or, ANY Medical Marijuana patient of voting age NOT in possession of a green card issued by the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services…
Will possess an immediate constitutional ‘authority to cultivate’, plant and grow (12) Medical Marijuana plants in the privacy of their own home.
No longer will our Medical Marijuana patients be restricted to NOT cultivate their own medicinal varieties of Medical Marijuana if they live within (25 miles) of a designated dispensary and possess a green card issued by the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services
Or, without a green card issued by the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services…
If the Medical Marijuana patient is of voter age.
The voting age in the State of Arizona is currently (18) years of age. See ARS 48-2917.
So, if you are age 17 and living in the State of Arizona as a resident, and the anniversary of your date of birth is scheduled to be no later than 6 months prior to the date of the upcoming general election (Sunday May 4, 2014), then you will be eligible to register to vote as a resident of the State of Arizona in the general election scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
You can also sign a petition at age 17 1/2 or later prior to the (Sunday May 4, 2014) ‘soft’ deadline.
Upon acceptance of your voter registration by the registrar of the State of Arizona, you will be eligible to cast a vote in the general election scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
As a bona fide registered voter, you will be able to Vote YES or NO to Amendment XXXI (31) in the upcoming general election to be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
Other features of Amendment XXXI (31) include provisions for:
Cultivation facilities for medicinal and general ‘recreational’ consumption will be licensed under Amendment XXXI (31) by the Arizona Department of Revenue and Board of Tobacco, Liquor and Firearms (similar to the States of Washington and Colorado that passed similar initiatives in the election of November 2012).
Product manufacturing facilities for medicinal and general ‘recreational’ consumption will also be licensed under Amendment XXXI (31) by the Arizona Department of Revenue and Board of Tobacco, Liquor and Firearms (similar to the States of Washington and Colorado that passed similar initiatives in the election of November 2012).
Testing facilities for medicinal and general ‘recreational’ consumption will also be licensed under Amendment XXXI (31) by the Arizona Department of Revenue and Board of Tobacco, Liquor and Firearms (similar to the States of Washington and Colorado that passed similar initiatives in the election of November 2012).
Retail stores for medicinal and general ‘recreational’ consumption will also be licensed under Amendment XXXI (31) by the Arizona Department of Revenue and Board of Tobacco, Liquor and Firearms (similar to the States of Washington and Colorado that passed similar initiatives in the election of November 2012).
Local city governments domiciled in the State of Arizona defined under Amendment XXXI (31) as counties, municipalities, or cities and counties may choose to regulate further, or ‘prohibit’ further the medicinal and general ‘recreational’ facilities licensed under Amendment XXXI (31) by the Arizona Department of Revenue and Board of Tobacco, Liquor and Firearms (similar to the States of Washington and Colorado that passed similar initiatives in the election of November 2012).
Wholesale excise tax for general ‘recreational’ consumption will be levied under Amendment XXXI (31) by the Arizona House of Representatives in agreement with the Arizona Senate, and signed into law at the agreed upon percentage rate of 15% by the then sitting Executive (Governor) of the State of Arizona (similar to the States of Washington and Colorado that passed similar initiatives in the election of November 2012).
Exception. Medical Marijuana received by a grand-fathered AMMA of 2010 approved Medical Marijuana retail establishment at the wholesale level under Amendment XXXI (31) shall be exempt from the 15% excise tax for all then and existing Medical Marijuana ‘wholesale’ transactions.
Arizona Department of Health and Human Resources to accept one-half of all revenues generated by the aforementioned ‘Wholesale excise tax' so levied under the Amendment XXXI (31) for general ‘recreational’ consumption for the express purpose of providing a facility to issue green cards to Medical Marijuana patients NOT of voter age when determined to be medicinally required (ie. Children and wards of the State of Arizona).
Possession limits for medicinal and general ‘recreational’ consumption shall be 2.5 ounces (70 grams) or less of dry flower buds of the Medical Marijuana plant per person under Amendment XXXI (31).
So, if you have two persons in your household, say one ‘medicinal’ Medical Marijuana user and one ‘recreational’ Medical Marijuana user, then you two as a couple can ‘cure’ up to 140 grams of #MedMj flower buds within the glass jars of your pantry or humidity controlled humidor without loosing sleep from the FEAR of law enforcement intrusion under the new Amendment XXXI (31).
However, as the new Amendment XXXI (31) has not been set up to pre-empt, but rather to enhance the existing AMMA of 2010, the rules favoring a limit of 2.5 ounces of dried flower buds for ‘medicinal’ Medical Marijuana users must be allowed an additional dynamic feature based on the underlying patient’s specific medicinal requirement.
Under the AMMA of 2010, an official ‘medicinal’ Medical Marijuana user may possess up to 2.5 ounces of dried flower buds every two weeks, or even greater if the patient requires more volume.
No doubt more volume is required (about a one-pound or 454 gr, or more) when distilling crushed flower buds into ‘Phoenix Tears' CBD medicine.
Note: A good sized sativa accession such as the ‘Super Lemon Haze' grown by The Greenhouse Seed Company of The Netherlands will pump out approximately 500gr - 1,000gr of flower buds every 9 to 12 weeks during the flowering phase of the plant's growth…indoors!
Outdoors, there is no restriction placed on residential outdoor growing in full or filtered sunlight within the Amendment XXXI (31) as long as the premises of the Medical Marijuana garden is ‘secure’ and ‘fenced-in’ against intrusion.
The now ‘old’ Arizona Medical Marijuana Act or AMMA of 2010 listed under ARS Title 38, Chapter 28 for ‘medicinal’ purchases of Medical Marijuana regulated by the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services is NOT to be construed as pre-empted by Amendment XXXI (31)
Rather, the new language of the Amendment XXXI (31) should be construed as simply an ‘enhancement' to the existing AMMA of 2010 statutes.
However, in most courts of law in the United States, an amendment to the State Constitution does hold judicial precedence over legislative attempts to dislodge any provision of Amendment XXXI (31) if so approved by the voters in November of 2014.
Industrial hemp for food and fiber, and other non-medicinal reasons shall be regulated separately under Amendment XXXI (31).
Industrial hemp is defined under Amendment XXXI (31) as plants of the genus Cannabacaea NOT exceeding 3/10ths of one-percent ‘delta-9-tetrahydrocanabinol' or THC.
Unlike the terms of the AMMA of 2010, the Amendment XXXI (31) does include a provision to pre-empt or supercede the “Marijuana" definitional terms of the ARS statutes as drafted in 1961 that have been applied and interpreted as law since, as follows:
“Marijuana" shall mean all parts of the Medical Marijuana plant whether live or dead, including the ‘seeds’ of the plant (except Industrial Hemp seeds, Industrial Hemp stalks, Industrial Hemp fibers, Industrial Hemp oil derived from Industrial Hemp seeds, Industrial Hemp cake derived from Industrial Hemp seeds, or the weight of ANY other ingredient derived from the Industrial Hemp plant or Industrial Hemp seeds whether viable or incapable of germination).
“Marijuana" shall also mean the ‘resin' extracted from ANY part of the Medical Marijuana plant, including the stalks, leaves and flower buds, and EVERY compound of manufacture whether a salt, a derivative, a mixture, or preparation, including “Marijuana” concentrate derived from the Medical Marijuana plant.
“Accessories" ALL Medical Marijuana "Accessories" of ANY kind are no longer illegal to possess under the proposed Amendment XXXI (31) by any person of voting age in the State of Arizona.
So, under the new constitutional amendment, if you want to purchase, own and possess a glass water-bong with a likeness of say Tommy Chong emblazoned on the front pipe of the glass…you can!
“Unreasonably impracticable" measures, rules, regulations, etc. shall be prohibited by Amendment XXXI (31).
The Arizona Department of Revenue has until July 1, 2015 to adopt a regulation scheme that will not unreasonably hog-tie through impracticable ordinances, rules, regulations, etc. the reasonable operation of any heretofore licensed Marijuana establishment.
“Application fees" required to be tendered to the Arizona Department of Revenue from a business or a business person when applying for a license to operate a "Cultivation Facility" in the State of Arizona shall not exceed one-thousand ($1,000) dollars USD annually (as adjusted for inflation) under the provisions of Amendment XXXI (31).
Enjoy the new provisions of Arizona Constitutional Amendment XXXI (31) and please Vote YES on November 4, 2014 for Amendment XXXI (31).

Under the provisions of the proposed Arizona State Constitutional Amendment XXXI (31) ANY Medical Marijuana patient carrying a Medical Marijuana green card issued by the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services

Or, ANY Medical Marijuana patient of voting age NOT in possession of a green card issued by the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services

Or, without a green card issued by the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services

How To Set Up A New Microsoft Live or Microsoft Outlook Mail Account Via The Apple MAC OS Mavericks ‘Mail’ Program In Order To Track And Utilize A Microsoft Live Or A Microsoft Outlook Email Account From Your Apple MacBook Pro Or From Your Apple Desktop Machine

Originally post’d by: Robert Hempaz, PhD Trichometry™; Apple Logo Eclipse Photo courtesy of The Times of India; Photo of Ganesh instructing us below by the Times of India courtesy of I Believe In Advertising.

Instructions
A. See the Microsoft Live Domains Administration Page for instructions on how to initiate a set of (up to 99) new Outlook email accounts for a domain that you are an owner of using an existing Microsoft Live account.
B. Now that you have secured a new Outlook email account, let’s go ahead and set up the new Apple MAC OSX Maverick Mail program and teach the program how to track a Microsoft Live or Microsoft Outlook email account.
IMPORTANT
Note: When setting up an ‘other’ email account with Mac OS Mavericks, originally use the suffix (.mac) when inputting your email address and then change the suffix to your correct suffix (.com, .us, etc.) when configuring both the ‘Incoming Mail Server’ in the following Step One and the ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ in the following Step Two.

Start
Engage the Mac OS Mavericks mail program from the preferred ‘Launchpad’ of your machine
If you have updated your OS recently, then the ‘Mail’ program version should be at least Version 7.1 (1827)
Click the ‘About Mail’ tab in the drop down menu of ‘Mail’ in the upper left corner of your screen to see what version of ‘Mail’ you are running on your machine.
When you are finished reviewing your version of ‘Mail’ (and have updated your copy of ‘Mail’ via the App Store, if needed) then click the ‘Accounts’ tab from the drop down menu of ‘Mail’
This will engage the ‘System Preferences’ pane of your OS and a medium sized window will appear on your screen showing ‘Internet Accounts’…to use with ‘Mail’, ‘Contacts’, Calendar’, ‘Messages’, and ‘other apps’
The left partition of the window will house the email accounts you have already configured ‘Mail’ to use
And, the right partition of the window will house the various ‘brands’ of accounts you can establish using the ‘Internet Accounts’ feature of Mac OS Mavericks
Now, go ahead and scroll down and through the list of ‘brands’ using the right scroll bar
Notice there is no ‘Microsoft’ or ‘Live’ or ‘Outlook’ selection available
So, we have to get creative here…
At the bottom of the list, select ‘Add Other Account’…and, click on that one!
A small, pop-up menu will appear asking which type of account do you wish to set up?
Choose the default account type at the top of the list: ‘Add a Mail account’
Click the ‘Create’ button
Another small, pop-up menu will appear titled ‘Add a Mail Account’
Go ahead and give the new mail account a full name ie) New Mail Account
The full name that you give your new mail account is not important at this time because you will have the opportunity to update and change both the full name and the description of the new mail account later on in the process.
Now, the next step in our process is very important to the success of this exercise.
In the ‘Email Address’ input box, go ahead and type in your email address with one very slight, yet very important change… (as noted above) make the suffix temporarily (.mac)
By making the suffix of your email address temporarily (.mac), a quirk in the mail setup program in Mac OS Mavericks will allow us to configure both the ‘Incoming Mail Server’ and the ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ manually
Go ahead and input your Outlook email address with the suffix temporarily changed to (.mac) and enter the password for your email account.
The small ‘Incoming Mail Server info’ screen will appear
Congratulations! You have made it to Step One
STEP ONE
Make sure the ‘Account Type’ is toggled to ‘IMAP’ and enter the following ‘Mail Server’ address
Note: Use the complete following ‘Incoming Mail Server’ address given.
Go ahead and copy and paste the entire ‘Incoming Mail Server’ address, as follows:
imap-mail.outlook.com
The ‘User Name’ input box should be populated with the email ‘handle’ of your Outlook email account already given in the ‘Start’ steps above
Note: The ‘handle’ of your email address is the first part of your address before the ‘@’ or ‘At’ symbol
Let’s go ahead and complete your email address by appending the ‘@‘ or ‘At’ symbol and let’s now add the ‘real’ suffix at the end of your new Outlook (Live) email address in the ‘User Name’ box
Leave the ‘Password’ input box alone.
The ‘Password’ input box should already be populated with your password that was given in the ‘Start’ steps above.
Remember to use your correct suffix when imputing the ‘User Name’ this time in order to secure an accurate connection for your new ‘Incoming Mail Server’ that will handle the email transmissions coming in from your new Outlook (Live) email account.
Click the ‘Next’ button…
The program will now attempt to sign into your new Outlook (Live) email account and verify your credentials given.
When successful, the Mac OS Mavericks ‘Mail’ program will stop and auto-prompt for ‘additional account information required’.
Do not be alarmed.
We have simply reached the point in the process where we must now configure your ‘Outgoing Mail Server’.
Congratulations! You have made it to Step Two
Intermission
But, first…the mail program will allow us to review our ‘Incoming Mail Server’ settings
Go ahead and click the ‘Next’ button…
Notice how quickly the ‘Incoming Mail Server Info’ now shows a ‘Path Prefix’
Leave this box at the default ‘Optional’… do not a-touch-a the ‘Path Prefix’ input box.
The port should default to ’993’ and the ‘Use SSL’ checkbox should already be enabled. ‘Authentication shows ‘Password’.
Well, nothing to do here but click the ‘Next’ Button
So, go ahead and click the ‘Next’ button now…
The small ‘Outgoing Mail Server Info’ screen now appears
STEP TWO
Enter the following ‘SMTP Server’ address
Note: Use the complete following ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ address, as follows:
smtp-mail.outlook.com
Your ‘User’ Name is your main Outlook email ‘handle’ plus the ‘@‘ or ‘At’ sign and your ‘real’ (.com, .us. etc.) suffix
Remember: The ‘handle’ of your email address is the first part of your address before the ‘@’ or ‘At’ symbol
As in Step One above, when configuring your ‘Outgoing Mail Server’, go ahead and complete your ‘User Name’ by appending the ‘@‘ or ‘At’ symbol to the ‘handle’ of your Outlook email address and add the ‘real’ (.com, .us, etc.) suffix at the end.
Well, the ‘Password’ input box is empty here so go ahead and manually input your Outlook or Live email account ‘Password’.
Remember to use your correct suffix when imputing the ‘User Name’ for your outgoing mail server
Go ahead and click the ‘Create’ button
The mail program will attempt to sign in and verify the new connection
Congratulations! Your new Mac OS Mavericks ‘Mail’ account has been established and you may now use your new Outlook (Live) email account with your MAC OS Mavericks ‘Mail’ program
At this time, go ahead and correct the ‘Description’ of your new ‘Mail’ account
Notice how the (.mac) suffix that we used originally is still showing up there
Do not be alarmed.
Leave the ‘Password’ be and make sure the ‘Mail’ check box is enabled
You may now exit the ‘Internet Accounts’ feature of your machine’s ‘System Preferences’ pane by clicking the ‘red’ exit dot in the upper left of your ‘Internet Accounts’ screen
Now go ahead and click the ‘Preferences’ pane of your MAC OS Mavericks ‘Mail’ program under the drop down menu ‘Mail’ tab in the upper left corner of your screen
The ‘Accounts’ screen should pop-up
Now find the new account you have just established.
You can see the accounts that have been configured for ‘IMAP’ in the list located within the left partition of the ‘Accounts’ screen.
Here you can change the ‘Description’ of your account and the ‘Full Name’ of your account…as promised from above.
Finally, go ahead and add a signature to your account that will automatically populate the salutation section of your new email messages when sent from this account

  5. Remember: The ‘handle’ of your email address is the first part of your address before the ‘@’ or ‘At’ symbol
  7. Well, the ‘Password’ input box is empty here so go ahead and manually input your Outlook or Live email account ‘Password’.
  8. Remember to use your correct suffix when imputing the ‘User Name’ for your outgoing mail server
  9. Go ahead and click the ‘Create’ button
  10. The mail program will attempt to sign in and verify the new connection
  11. Congratulations! Your new Mac OS Mavericks ‘Mail’ account has been established and you may now use your new Outlook (Live) email account with your MAC OS Mavericks ‘Mail’ program
  12. At this time, go ahead and correct the ‘Description’ of your new ‘Mail’ account
  13. Notice how the (.mac) suffix that we used originally is still showing up there
  14. Do not be alarmed.
  15. Leave the ‘Password’ be and make sure the ‘Mail’ check box is enabled
  16. You may now exit the ‘Internet Accounts’ feature of your machine’s ‘System Preferences’ pane by clicking the ‘red’ exit dot in the upper left of your ‘Internet Accounts’ screen
  17. Now go ahead and click the ‘Preferences’ pane of your MAC OS Mavericks ‘Mail’ program under the drop down menu ‘Mail’ tab in the upper left corner of your screen
  18. The ‘Accounts’ screen should pop-up
  19. Now find the new account you have just established.
  20. You can see the accounts that have been configured for ‘IMAP’ in the list located within the left partition of the ‘Accounts’ screen.
  21. Here you can change the ‘Description’ of your account and the ‘Full Name’ of your account…as promised from above.
  22. Finally, go ahead and add a signature to your account that will automatically populate the salutation section of your new email messages when sent from this account

Doctors At Risk From #MedMj

Seahorse-Hippocampus-Mermaids-by-Abigail-L-Hamaker-orginal

Originally post’d by: Robert Hempaz, PhD Trichometry™; Photo courtesy of Abigail L Hamaker

You’re ‘velcome’…here’s an update to the saga that I placed at the ‘Pot Moms International’ Facebook page…after the boys from the Marijuana Policy Project #MPP pick’d up on the story thanks to all of the ‘tweeting’…

The boys back east in DC that work for the #MPP are quick to note the significance of the liability for Doctors NOT ‘recommending' #MedMj in those states that have already declared #MedMj legal, liquid or not !

Now, the doctors up in Utah are pressuring the Mormon church to comply, as well.

All based on little Zander’s plight.

I post’d the following ‘Tweet’ at the #MPP blog this past week…

RT @cannabuds: When did the doctors decide to remove his #hippocampus? Before or after the administration of ‘Phoenix Tears’? C=>http://medmj.us/Zanderwelton #GotTree? #Please #ReTweet

The #hippocampus (shaped like a ‘seahorse' deep inside the brain) is a very important organ of the human body.

Scientific American #SA calls the organ “The Brain’s Director” C=>http://medmj.us/HippocampusLive

When I reviewed the lawsuit that the #ACLU filed in late October 2013 ( C=>http://medmj.us/Zanderwelton ), the light bulb came on that Doctor’s who fail to ‘recommend’ #MedMj BEFORE such surgeries to remove the #hippocampus were and are at serious fault.

All because of the FEAR sown by the powers that be in the state legislature of Arizona (read: Socially Conservative Republicans), and by the Maricopa County Attorney Montgomery who has threatened to jail any person using #MedMj extracts in Arizona despite the new law!

When the #MPP boys drafted the original Arizona Medical Marijuana Act #AMMA away back in 2010, they fail’d to strike the old language from the ‘narcotics’ section of the ARS that included ‘marijuana’ from 1960 (when that legislature drafted the ‘old language’.)

The AMMA language from 2010 was constructed to do away with the ‘old’ language of the past statutes and supersede all, but the specific words from the ‘old’ section under ‘narcotics’ were not EXPLICITLY stricken from the Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS).

Hence, persons sympathetic to Montgomery’s vendetta against #MedMj, or those who are just flat out fearful of his ways and means (like the Doctors) are failing to grasp the full significance, especially if the #ACLU succeeds in their lawsuit.

Which looks highly likely the #ACLU WILL prevail on behalf of little Zander and his parents.

And, that will open the door for an EXTREME level of compensation for little Zander based on the TORT of omission that was committed by the Doctors prior to removing the little tyke’s #hippocampus.

The doctors flat out failed their hippocratic oath to use means that were LEGALLY at their disposal, but did not do so out of fear of County Attorney Montgomery’s well known, and well voiced vendetta against ‘Phoenix Tears’.

What price do you place upon your or any other person’s #hippocampus?

The Doctors tossed it in the trash, when all they had to do was follow the new law, and the will of the voters, and administer the ‘Phoenix Tears’ first !

Before the unsuccessful surgery was performed to remove Zander’s #hippocampus.

Bug eyed crazy, for sure.

Which is why I have call’d on President O’bama to make #MedMj legal at the Federal level pronto by Executive fiat, to remove the confusion and fear sown by opponents and antagonists at the state level.

Even in states where the voters have already APPROVED #MedMj for medical purposes.

As where little Zander and his parents now reside.

In Arizona…where else?
